How long have you been collecting records for? Though fascination for records was with me since my school days, serious collection of records started a decade back.

Which is the most valuable record in your collection?
I consider each of my records assiduously collected over the years as precious. Each has its own importance and value.
Tell us about your turntable setup.
I have custom made turntable by Tareeq Shafeeque with two tonearms, one for 33 and 45 RPM Records and the other for the 78 RPM Records . The Turntable by Tareeq apart from its engineering is a piece of art. This is hooked to tube phono pre-amplifier , tube integrated amplifier and mini horn speakers custom made by Viren Bakshi of Lyrita Audio. The other set up , I have is the Suraine TT made in India, a couple years back by Sarvesh Rai which is hooked to vintage SONY TA-F5A ampilifier and Quad speakers. This is a very good unit for archiving my 78 RPM collections.
Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
My advice would be to start with buying the records which you will hear moire often and add on to your collection steadily. While buying used records, always invest in buying records in excellent condition to enjoy the real charm of the vinyl.
