Tell us your Vinyl Story
I’ve always loved the idea of being able to do more with the music that I like than just listening to it. For years now I’ve been collecting CDs of my favourite artists such as John Mayer, The Eagles, SRV, etc., I could have easily listened to them online - for free even, but I love being able to hold the music in my hands, and also thinking that I was contributing to and supporting the artists I love so much. And then I realised that vinyls could bring me even closer to this feeling I was chasing, so in January of this year I finally got myself an ATLP60X and a pair of Edifiers along with my 1st Vinyl purchase ever - Parcel’s Vol. 1 - and I love it all! It’s been about 3 months and I own 2 records so far, with a 3rd really special one being shipped right now from Texas because it was impossible to find in India.
Being able to watch the different objects interact with each other in such a tangible way to produce the music right in front of me is an incredible feeling.

Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
Don’t expect it to necessarily sound better than digital - it’s all about the tangible experience. Even the snaps, crackles and pops add to it!
