Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
Preserve your existing collection or ask your pa or granpa about their collection to begin with. You'll never what you may discover in your attic. Seek out people among your relatives, friends, social circles of anybody wanting to get tid of their collection. You might even get theirs for free. Interact with various social groups, clubs and buy/sell/exchange as per your need. Visit old record stores to see if any pearls are up for sale at throw away prices.
