What got you into collecting records?
I love the art work and the feel of a record and the way it spins when I put it into the player. I used to go to rhythm house and look at the records and think how attractive they looked.
Is collecting vinyl an expensive hobby?
Yes it can be . It’s not as cheap as cds and cassettes used to be . But that’s what makes it even more special for me.
Does music on vinyl sound better than on any other format?
I do feel it has a richer sound. But I love the whole ritual of it . It’s a lot more sacred than clicking a song on your phone.
How large is your collection and which is the most valuable album in your collection?
I have about 60 lps. The most valuable to me are my Guns n’ Roses LPs, especially GnR Lies which is an album that’s not easily available.
Tell us about your turntable setup.
I have a denon turntable connected to Yamaha amp and bose speakers.
