How long have you been collecting records?

Tell us your Vinyl Story
I've been a fan of vinyl ever since I was a kid. But my dad never really let me touch either his records or his player. As a hi-fi owner myself now, I can empathise in hindsight. Back in 2018 while on a trip to Amsterdam, I bought Air's Moon Safari on vinyl. It stayed in my cupboard for 3 years until I decided to treat myself to a turntable on my 35th birthday (2 years ago).

I have a Pro-ject T1 Phono SB with Edifier speakers.
Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
Don't worry about the turntable. Spend your money on quality vinyl.
