Any advice to people that are about to start their collection?
1st step - look for collection that people want to dispose off (most of the time you get them for free, though you might find more than 20% of the records with deep scrathes! still worth a try); 2nd step - look for roadside shops in old cities like Bombay or Calcutta (you get them pretty cheap and in good condition, I got some precious ones only for 200 bucks a piece, check them before you buy) 3rd step - go for online sellers like The Revolver Club. And be careful while choosing your turntable. The very cheap ones might spoil your discs as their tracking force might not be well calibrated and absence of the anti-skate feature is not a good thing.
What genres of music do you like?
Indian Classical, Jazz
