Its hard to imagine what the music in the country would be without indie folk or alternative music.
The scene is now a booming industry with every new band/musician trying to be the next Prateek Kuhad or When chai met toast, it wasn’t always like though.
Released in 2008, Kid without candy came out a time when the independent rock and metal scene was thriving.

It was met with almost universal praise from all the critics at the time, Sajid Akbar and the lost boys use of electronic textures mixed with alternative/indie folk music had mesmerized all.
It almost seemed as if the band was on the cusp of something big, it’s a shame then that the band is virtually unknown today.
