Ceramic Tungsten Technology
The membranes of the K series are manufactured in a complex process. In the process, 20% of the molecular structure of an aluminum cone is converted into a ceramic structure and refined with tungsten particles. The result is a membrane with an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio and improved internal damping.
Connection Terminal
The audiophile, 750 watt powerful digital output stage of the subwoofer is equipped with a high and a low level input. Volume level, phase adjustment and crossover frequency can be controlled directly from the listening position using a wireless remote control. The woofer system, embedded in a solid baffle made of 50 mm thick multi-layer laminate, together with the Bass-Guide® integrated in the base, ensures impressive basses up to 18 Hertz.
Housing Geometry
The solid structure made of high-quality 50 mm multi-layer laminate sets new standards in terms of stability. The shape of the housing is elaborately milled from the solid material in a special process.
High-end Internal Wiring
The cable routes inside the housing are reduced to a minimum. The cables themselves have been specially developed for the Reference K loudspeakers. The structure with a special core and six twisted individual conductors per phase ensures optimal sound transmission from the connection terminal to the chassis.
Surfaces
The elegant, high-gloss "Piano Finish" surface seal is applied, sanded and painstakingly polished in 12 steps. It gives the Reference K Series enclosures an overwhelming depth effect. Acoustically optimized, two-part fabric covers with magnetic attachment round off the elegant appearance with confidence.
Manufacturing Quality
We develop and manufacture the loudspeaker systems of our Reference K series in-house. This is the only way we can maintain the necessary quality standards, eliminate error tolerances and meet the high sound requirements for our top products.
